Born and raised in Calgary AB (nicknamed "cowtown" by the locals) - my home city is no mere town anymore. Calgary is one of Canada's top 5 largest cities, and a major player in North America in the booming oil and gas industry.

All this economic activity has caused our homes to double in value in 2006-2007. Apart from the cold weather here, I like to participate in the annual "Calgary Stampede" where the entire city literally celebrates live downtown parades coupled with a weekly festival of amusement park rides and rodeos.

I have a passion for cooking, computers and just about any geeky activity you can think of.
